How & Why:
Use life-size graphic organizers to synthesize information. The students would take the text that was covered in class make sure they understand it and then working in a small group to create a life size abstract representation of the charter they’ve read about. The teacher in the video was not teaching history however, I think this would be ideal for history.
I would use the graphic organizer in a similar as depicted in the video. Students would take information (evidence) they have learned condense it onto the life-size organizer, then present the organizer and then apply that information into further studies or writing.
