The Great Pumpkin

“Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He’s gotta pick this one. He’s got to. I don’t see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one.” – Linus

I’m not sure if I love Halloween because I’m a witch or because it’s my mothers favorite holiday maybe it’s a little of both. Either way, Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays. It has some of the best Halloween movies (not the horror films) such as one of my favorites It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I sure do watch it EVERY Halloween! And, the people that know me knows that I definitely have a sweet tooth and a vast imagination. And believe me I let my creativity come out during Halloween, I dress up and be whatever I wanted to be. This Halloween however, definitely snuck up on me I was not prepared, and my boys weren’t prepared. We usually have the decorations up on October 1. Not this year, life was just too busy. We still tried to make the best of it. My boys and I always have a great time at pumpkin patches, from contests to who can find the biggest pumpkin/roundest pumpkin, to racing in wheel-barrels. We usually stick to the pumpkin patches close to home, but this year we ventured out. Kuwahara’s Pumpkin Patch is unique, to say the least, with a huge variety of pumpkins, corn maze, pigs, and giant blow-up slides it was a good time. I hope you all enjoyed your All Hallows’ Eve; we enjoyed ours.

“Have you come to sing pumpkin carols?” -Linus

“He’ll come here because I have the most sincere pumpkin patch and he respects sincerity.” – Linus

“Everyone tells me you are a fake, but I believe in you. P.S.: if you really are a fake, don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.” – Linus

“There are three things I’ve learned never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin.” – Linus

Linus: “You don’t believe the story of the Great Pumpkin? I thought little girls always believed everything that was told to them. I thought little girls were innocent and trusting.”
Sally: “Welcome to the 20th Century!”

I was robbed! I spent the whole night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, when I could have been out for tricks or treats. Halloween is over, and I missed it! You blockhead.– “Sally Brown:
